Room 112 Debuts Top Ten Worldwide!

Updated: Dec 21, 2025

This December, Wayne Bethanis's song “You Know I Will Remember You (Room 112)” debuted in the Top Ten on the OWMR (One World Music Radio) Charts. Even more notably, the track became the sixth Top Ten charting song worldwide from his acclaimed album Sonic Bloom.

The Story Behind Room 112

You Know I Will Remember You is one of Bethanis’s most intimate compositions. The song’s title traces back to his college years, when he volunteered his time entertaining AIDS patients on an old upright piano in Room 112 of an inner-city hospital in Los Angeles.

The setting was humble, but the emotional impact was profound. During one visit, a patient said words that would stay with him for life:“Someday you’ll be famous; don’t ever forget us.”

That sentence became a promise.

The composition stands as a tribute—to those lives, those voices, and the shared humanity that shaped Bethanis as both an artist and a person. Room 112 is not only a piece of music, but an act of remembrance.

A Song That Continues to Resonate

The global response to Room 112 has been both humbling and affirming. What began as a deeply personal reflection has found resonance with listeners around the world, proving once again that authentic stories have the power to travel far beyond their origins.

Bethanis expressed gratitude to OWMR for supporting the song and to the listeners who have embraced it. Composer and broadcaster Steve Sheppard described the piece as “the most beautiful song ever composed by the artist,” praise that underscores the emotional depth of the work.

The Power of Collaboration

A key element of the song’s impact lies in its orchestration by Jared Kraft, whose sweeping and sensitive arrangements elevated the composition to new heights. His contribution added dimension and emotional clarity, allowing the story within the music to unfold with greater resonance.

Room 112 exemplifies the power of collaboration and shared artistic vision.

Six Top Ten Songs—and Still Blooming

With this latest chart debut, Sonic Bloom has now produced six Top Ten songs on charts around the world—a remarkable achievement that reflects the album’s sustained global reach.
